Hawaii - Koko Head and Diamond Head

We had the great pleasure of joining our friends Jack and Kelsey on their traditional "Monday Afternoon Hike." The day we joined them they decided to conquer Koko Head Crater. Any sane person would simply say "No. In fact HECK no" when placed at the base of Koko Head. As you can see from the first picture (and it is not manipulated at all) that is a stairway straight to heaven...railroad ties in fact; uneven, non-centered, inconsistent, big-step, huge railroad ties. It was a daunting climb but the rewards were great, as we were blessed with an amazing view of the best sunset we saw on the trip. Needless to say, Ronna and I decided to hike a more commercial hike the next day (Diamond Head).

More Hawaii

Sorry for not posting lately, I still have LOTS of Hawaii pictures to go through but I've been distracted lately by a new computer (it's a mac and amazing btw). Here's one picture that I hope will hold you over for a little while longer. It might be my favorite that I have seen so far.

Idyllwild Wine Tasting

I found these pictures looking through my computer. I completely forgot about them and decided to post them. A couple months or so ago, Ronna and I took a weekend trip up to Idyllwild for their annual Art and Wine walk. Wineries and other vendors set up stations all up and down Idyllwild's main road. It's a lot of fun and we literally find every excuse possible to go up to the mountains.

Megan & Ian

Megan and Ian are friends of ours and they asked me to take some pictures of them for their Christmas Cards. We (Ronna and I) took them down to La Jolla and had a photo session on the beach. Ronna used my old camera and took some great shots alongside of me. Here's the outcome.

We're also going to start playing a new game that Ronna has dubbed WITU (Where Is The Umbrella). Somewhere in the photos is going to be a black umbrella. Sometimes noticeable, sometimes not, sometimes it might not even be there. See if you can find it.

TGIF...Thank God It's Fall

Wow. It's been a while. Some new pictures will be posted soon! But first, fall is here! My favorite time of the year. And since fall is here, that means the holidays are rapidly approaching. [Insert shameless photo business plug here:] And you don't want to forget your Christmas Cards! Let me take them for you.

I would never leave you with a sales pitch! I wanted to share with you one of my favorite pictures recently. One that reminds me of fall. I hope you enjoy it!

Dalton Cohen

Our good friends, Nicole and Gavin, just had their first child! A beautiful baby boy named Dalton Cohen. Part of our session was spent in the Temecula Wine Country at Maurice Carrie Winery, just one of the many gorgeous wineries in town. Enjoy.

Texas - The Nieces

My wife, Ronna, and I took a trip back to her parents house in Abilene, Texas. I love taking pictures of her nieces (my new nieces) and here is a collection of my favorites from the week. We were there for 8 days so I came away with thousands of pictures and tried my best to cram the good ones onto this page. The week was filled with fun stuff including new shoes for the girls, waterskiing, my sister making the trip for a couple days, and of course lots of sun and swimming. Enjoy.

Starfish Flower

Here are a few pictures I took of the Starfish flower I had growing in my backyard. Pretty cool little thing. I'm just proud I haven't killed the plant yet.
